OFP2 Facebook Fan Page
Helios informed us in Codies Forum about their Facebook Fan page.So whoever has facebook just join and whoever is not create a facebook account and join.By Helios words if the page reach the 100 fan milestone before 12pm on Friday (18th July) they are going to upload a Facebook exclusive, never seen before video for you all to enjoy.
At the moment there are 40 fans...so guys hurry up and join before the deadline...

O Helios μας ενημέρωσε στο forum της Codemasters σχετικά με την σελίδα του παιχνιδιού στο Facebook. Οπότε όποιος έχει facebook ας γίνει φίλος του παιχνιδιού και όποιος δεν έχει facebook ας φτιάξει λογαριασμό τώρα. Από ότι μας είπε ο Helios αν φτάσουμε τους 100 φίλους του παιχνιδιού ως την Παρασκευή 12 το βράδυ στις 18 του μήνα τότε θα ανεβάσουν στο facebook ένα αποκλειστικό βίντεο που δεν έχουμε δει ποτέ για να το απολαύσουμε.
Αυτή την στιγμη η σελίδα έχει 40 φίλους... Για αυτό παιδιά τρέξτε να προλάβουμε πρίν την προθεσμία...

Ο σκοπός της δημιουργίας της κοινοτητάς μας είναι η γνωστοποίηση του παιχνιδιού αυτού στον ελληνικό χώρο και η διαρκή σας ενημέρωση πάνω σε θέματα που το αφορούν, όπως νέα για το παιχνίδι, mods-addons, επίσημες πληροφοριές, κάλυψη αγώνων και γενικά οτιδήποτε το αφορά.
Το παιχνίδι προγραμματίζεται να έρθει το 2009 και φτιάχνεται από την Codemasters.

Και εδώ μία σύνοψη του τί μας περιμένει όπως παρουσιάζεται απο την εταιρία κατασκευής του παιχνιδιού:
American forces are stationed to protect americans working on Skira (oil and gas companies). Without a warning the chinese army invades the island and forces the US Army to retreat. Russia is requesting american support and the USA sends the USS Iwo Jima to the conflict region. The first part of the campaign will be settled during the chinese invasion, whereas you will be part of the American intervention force in the second part.
Facts :
- 220 km² island called Skira (based on a real island)
- 30 Air and ground Vehicles (Ah-1Z, M1A1, M2A3)
- 70 weapons (FGM-148, M 107, Mk 16 Mod 0, Mk 48 Mod 0)
- Dynamic Building Destruction (Buildings do have several desctruction phases)
- destructible trees
- dynamic weather effects
- mud effects (comparison --> Race Driver Grid).
- weapons won't stay shiny all the time... they will get scratches and get dirty while beeing used
- no dynamic campaign
- easy command system with commander overview
- AI uses real military tactics
- Some weapons have to be assembled before it can be used (f.e. the Javelin)
- Gore Limb Dismemberment will be included
